1.Introduction

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) sets out the basis which PowerWomen LLC (2111508.01) and our subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively “Power Women”, “PW”, “we”, “us” or “our”) may collect, use, process, disclose and/or transfer personal data (defined below).

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data of individuals (“you”, or “your”) in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations which we have engaged to collect, use, process, disclose and/or transfer personal data for our purposes.

“personal data” includes any information that you provide to us, that we collect or that we are provided with by third parties and that identifies you, or from which you are identifiable, whether directly or indirectly;

“Services” means collectively the provision of professional advisory, consulting and membership services  to help people develop professionally to persons in both individual and group settings by Power Women.

“website” means powerwomen.world and any of its related sites.

 

2.Personal Information We Collect

Information you provide to us. Depending on the nature of your transaction with us, the personal data which we may collect from you includes (but is not limited to) your name, contact information such as your address, email address or telephone number, location, physical appearance and likeness, employment data such as employment status, occupation and employer, and financial information such as credit card numbers, debit card numbers or bank account information.

Such personal data may be collected from you or from persons authorised by you (for example, your organisation or employer, where you are using our Services pursuant to your organisation’s or employer’s benefit) to disclose your personal data to us through the following means, which are not exhaustive :

  • Contact data, for example, your first and last name, date of birth, email address and mailing address (including email address for anyone who assists with your scheduling) and your phone number.

  • Profile data, like your username and password that you can set up to set up an online account with us, your interests and preferences, and any content uploaded to the Service (such as text, images, audio, and video, along with the metadata associated with the files you upload).

  • Registration data, creation of an account on our Website; filling up a form on our Website or as otherwise provided to you; Information that may be related to a service, to a membership application or to an account or event that you register for, including but not limited to, the following:

  • Protected classification characteristics, Your ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationship status and family overview.

  • Professional and employment data, Includes, but not limited to, the following:

    • Company information, The name of your company, the industry, the type of company and the size of your company.

    • Role information, This includes your professional title, function, and any professional qualifications (e.g., professional level and level you report) and your skills (e.g., whether you manage a P&L, sales or marketing budget or have raised or been involved in raising capital for a business)

    • Other information of the type that may be included on a resume or curriculum vitae, As if you are currently on a board of directors at your company and/or outside your company.

  • Financial data, For example, your credit card or other payment card details that you use to pay for the Service and your Service-related billing information and transaction history.

  • Other information That we may collect which is not specifically listed here, but which we shall use in accordance with this Privacy Policy or as otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.

 

 

Third party sources. We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information we obtain from other sources such as:

  • Public sources, Like the social media platforms. When you visit or interact with our pages on these platforms, the privacy policy of the Platform Provider will apply to your interactions and the collection, use and processing of your personal information. You or the platforms may provide us with information through the platform, and we will process that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

  • Other third parties, As marketing partners and event co-sponsors.

 

 

Automatic data collection. We, our service providers and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your activity over time on our websites, apps, and online services, such as your mobile device:

  • Device data, For example, your computer or mobile device operating system type and version number, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique identifiers, the website you visited before browsing our website, and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.

  • Online activity data, You've seen pages or screens, how long you've spent on a page or screen, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times, and duration of access.

  • Some data such as browsing behaviour will be collected automatically by our Website (for further details, please see our Cookies section below). We may also receive personal data regarding you from third parties and other sources that are publicly available, for example, when we interact with you through LinkedIn and other social media.

  • The provision of certain personal data by you to us (such as your name, email address, contact information, credit card and such other information as may be indicated by PW) will be compulsory or obligatory in order for PW to provide the relevant Services for the identified purposes. PW may not be able to provide the relevant Services for the identified purposes if you fail to supply the relevant personal data.

  • Certain Services will involve interaction and communication with other individuals in a group setting whether via text messaging apps, video conferencing software or any other means. By providing your personal data in such group communication channels, you acknowledge that other individuals in the same group communication channels as you will have access to any personal data which you provide and share therein. We encourage you to exercise reasonable caution when disclosing any personal data in group communication channels. Rest assured that we are committed to protecting your privacy, and if any individual in such group is found to have used others’ personal data in any manner without the necessary permission, we will take appropriate action against such individual.

In addition, your username will be shown via the Service to other users and you will be able to be contacted through the Service by other users. Opt out of marketing communications. By following the opt-out or cancel at the bottom of the email, or by contacting us at hello@PowerWomen.world, you can opt out of marketing-related emails. You can continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing emails. 

Security Practices

We care about the protection of your personal information. We take a range of operational, technological and physical steps, both during transmission and after we receive it, to protect the personal information we obtain. Nonetheless, no security protections are 100% secure and we can not guarantee the protection of your data.

 

Children

The service is not targeted at children under the age of 16, and Power Women does not knowingly collect or receive personal information from them. If we learn that any user of the Service is under 16 years of age, we will take reasonable measures to remove the personal details of that individual and prohibit that person from future access to the Service.

The Website may contain links to other third-party websites and microsites, whose privacy practices may differ from those of PW. If you submit personal data to any of those sites, your personal data is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

By clicking on or activating such links and leaving the Website, PW does not exercise control over any data or any information which you give to any other entity after leaving the Website. Any access to such other sites or pages is entirely at your risk.

The Service may include links to other third-party websites and other online services. These links are not endorsements or representations by any third party of which we are associated. Additionally, our content may be found on web pages or online services that are not affiliated with us. We do not monitor the websites or online services of third parties and we are not responsible for their actions. Other websites and services follow different rules about the collection, use and distribution of your personal information. 10.Retention of personal data

We may retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected as outlined in this Privacy Policy, for the purpose of satisfying our business (accounting and reporting) or legal requirements, but also to properly resolve disputes or to troubleshoot problems, or as required or permitted by applicable laws.

We will cease to retain your personal data or remove the means by which the data can be associated with you, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that such retention no longer serves the purpose for which the personal data was collected, and is no longer necessary for legal or business purposes.

We reserve the right, at any time, to change this Privacy Policy. We may amend, vary or modify this Privacy Policy in its sole discretion from time to time without any prior notice. The latest version in force is available on our website.
