We launched Project Knock Knock with the objective of bringing more women into advisory roles. This helps build the pipeline for future board leaders. Bringing more women to the forefront is NOT a gender issue but a economic issue. The philosophy is simple, we knock (shamelessly) at doors and seize opportunities if they don’t come to us.

  • Through this programme, Power Women also seeks to support the entrepreneurship ecosystem, specially the women entrepreneurs, by making the eco system more gender balanced by bringing in more female mentors.

  • Currently, Power Women has partnered with the Founders Institute, UAE, and Loyal VC, Canada, in which women from the PW collective joined as mentors advising startups.

A lot has been said, researched and spoken about Women On Boards. Two facts remain: 

  1. Adding diversity to the boards increases value. 

  2. Representation of Women on Boards remains dismal

With the project we have brought in opportunities for our members to become advisors and mentors at globally renowned Accelerators and Venture Capital Firms. We are excited to present the trailblazers from our collective who will be advising the upcoming cohort of startups at Founder Institute UAE and advising startups at Loyal VC Canada
